Michael grew up in the Houston, Texas area. He earned his B.A. in Accounting/Finance from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. While at Franklin & Marshall he was a member of the school's ice hockey team and the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He then returned to Texas and earned his J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University – School of Law) in Fort Worth, TX. While at law school, he helped start the school's rugby team.
Michael's first job out of law school was at a small firm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area representing the injured in North Texas. Through that experience, he was able to gain a wide range of skill in everything from personal injury law to bankruptcy law, family law, and construction law.
Since moving to South Florida, Michael has worked for various insurance defense firms in the area of personal injury protection and first and third party insurance claims. He has represented a large range of different insurance companies in his career.
Now that Michael has joined SKG’s PIP Department, he has returned to representing individuals and businesses in their claims against the insurance companies he once represented.
He has been admitted to The Florida Bar since 2010 and to The Texas Bar since 2005.
